Toolkit: Installing FrontPage Templates

Those who are using FrontPage 98 must copy the content of the _sharedtemplates folder into the "page" folder where FrontPage is installed; for example, "D:\Program Files\Microsoft FrontPage\pages" or download the fp_tmpl.zip file and unzipping it into the FrontPage "page" folder.

The following FrontPage templates have been used to develop the RUP.

• Activity
• Artifact
• Concept
• Guideline
• Report
• Workflow Introduction
• Workflow Detail
• Role
• Tool Mentor

Each new page must be saved in to the appropriate folder and according to naming convention as outlined in the File naming section in the RUP Style Guideline. For example, a new Activity file should be saved in the process/activity directory and the file name should begin with prefix "ac_".
