Purpose

This document defines those Business Rules applicable to the business. If appropriate, they can be divided into subject groups.

Timing

The Business Rules is primarily developed during the Inception phase.

Responsibility

A Business-Process Analyst is responsible for the integrity of the Business Rules document, ensuring that:

• the Business Rules document is produced in a timely manner
• it is continuously kept consistent with the results of development

Tailoring

The contents of this artifact can be included in the Artifact: Supplementary Business Specification or, if no other artifacts of the Business Modeling discipline are performed, in the Artifact: Supplementary Specifications instead of here.
