Links are shown on collaboration diagrams.  A link specifies a path along which one object can send a message to another.

The names of links should start with a lower case letter.  The naming of links is optional.

All Link documentation is optional.

A link can be an instance of an association, or it can be anonymous, meaning that its association is unspecified. The identification of the association that the link is an instance of is optional although identifying the associations for all links is good validation of the underlying model.
