Getting Started with Course Web Hosting
To get started with your account, make sure you've completed all tasks on the checklist.

Checklist
- Your course account name. If your course requires web hosting, your professor will provide you with one. Alternatively check your SCE Account page for your course account name.
- Have your UHCL account and password
- Have a computer capable of FTP (Pretty much every computer out there)

- Connect to your Web Hosting FTP account1
- Copy your website files to the "pages" folder in the account you connected to in step 1.
- Check your home page by visiting
http://dcm.uhcl.edu/[course_account_name]
Please note: All course accounts are subject to deletion at the end of each semester. You are responsible for making backups of any files you put in the account.
