Getting Started with Personal Web Hosting
To get started with your account, make sure you've completed all tasks on the checklist.

- Apply for hosting
NOTE: After applying, students need to visit Ms. Caroline Johnson in Room D161 to be approved for hosting. - Have your UHCL account and password
- Have a computer capable of FTP (Pretty much every computer out there)
- Apply for hosting

- Connect to your Web Hosting FTP account1
- Copy your website files to the "pages" folder in the account you connected to in step 1.
- Check your home page by visiting
http://sceweb.uhcl.edu/[your_sce_username]
