The Blockchain Innovation Group (BIG@UHCL) at the University of Houston-Clear Lake is a research group of computing faculty members and students. The team collaborates with partner organizations on blockchain projects and conduct related research. Its research focus is on constructing domain-specific Consortium Blockchain Applications (CBA) using permissioned blockchain platforms.

CBA conceptual modeling: effectively capturing CBA requirements with UML, BPMN, etc.

Model transformation: transforming CBA conceptual models to permissioned blockchain models.
